NEACR Book Groups

After sponsoring a Book Group Series during the fall of 2014, NEACR continues to provide its members the opportunity to join or host a Book Group in the winter months of 2015. The selection of the book to be featured is tied to an upcoming program, the NEACR Annual Meeting on Thursday, April 2, 2015. 

Taking the War Out of Our Words: The Art of Powerful Non-Defensive Communication

Join local NEACR members in reading Ellison's popular book, which is considered to be one of the hottest and most influential works that the conflict resolution field has seen in some time. After reading the book and enjoying your local book group, all members and non-members are welcome to attend an evening of discussion and exercises led by Carrie Kaas, renowned throughout New England for her work as a non-defensive communication speaker and trainer. 

Host locations will be announced now through April 1st as they are confirmed.

Registration is open for NEACR members to express their interest in either hosting or attending this Book Group Series.

Participation in the book discussions is free to members and non-members. Everyone is welcome to come and discuss a great book with fellow dispute resolution colleagues and students.

NEACR is accepting offers to host or participate as a guest at one of the Book Group Series listed above. When registering as a host, please provide details of your event such as location, date, time and the maximum number of participants that you can host. If you are interested in attending a book group, please register as a participant and specify the region in which you'd like to participate.
