with Debra Gerardi, RN, MPH, JD
Friday, December 18, 2009
12:30-1:30 pm
As of January 2009, all accredited health care organizations are required to address disruptive behavior and conflict among leadership groups. The expanding openness of healthcare leaders and clinicians to addressing conflict provides an opportunity for conflict specialists.
Deb Gerardi will discuss the dimensions of conflict within health care environments and offer some practical approaches for working with health professionals.
Ms. Gerardi is a mediator and health care conflict engagement specialist who has provided mediation and facilitation services, conflict assessment, system design and training programs for over 100 leading healthcare organizations in the US and internationally.
