Mediation Advocacy Skills Workshop/Boston Law Collaborative

  • 10 Jun 2016
  • 9:00 AM - 5:00 PM
  • Boston Law Collaborative, 99 Summer Street, Boston, MA 02110

NEACR Organizational Member, the Boston Law Collaborative, is holding a Mediation Advocacy Skills advanced workshop on June 10, 2016. The event will be led by BLC founder David Hoffman and co-trainers David Gibbs, Don Greenstein, Jim Grumbach and Audrey Lee.

The increasing use of mediation has changed the way law is practiced in the U.S. and internationally, and clients expect lawyers to have a working knowledge of the mediation process. However, advocacy in mediation is not taught in most law schools, and requires a very different set of skills than trial advocacy. This workshop teaches lawyers about persuasion and problem-solving in the context of mediation, and gives participants an opportunity to try new approaches using participatory role plays and discussion.

Join BLC at their downtown Boston location from 9:00am to 5:00pm on June 10. Event attendance is $250 per person. To register, send an email to Jenna Goodman at JGoodman@bostonlawcollaborative.com. For more information on this program, click here.
